Kantoji Temple : It is most ornamental late medival Hindu temple of Bangladesh situated near Dinajpur town. Maharaza Pran Nath build it in 1752 A.D. It was originally a nava-ratna (nine-towered) temple, crowned with richly ornamented towers.Every inch of wall surface both inside and outside of th temple is profusely decorated with exquisite terracotta plaques, representing flora, fauna, geometric motifs, mythological scenes.
Paharpur : Paharpur has been indentified from a series of incribed clay seals as the Somapura Vihara from the great Pala Dynasty. It is th biggest single Vihara south of Himalayas, measuring approximately 900 feet along each side and enclosed by an outer wall with 177 monastic cells built into it. In the center of the 22-acre courtyard are the ruins of mighty temple, which rise to a height of 72 feet and an unusual hillock giving the local village of Paharpur its name.
Mahasthangarh : The oldest archaeological site of Bangladesh Mahasthangarh is located at distance of 18 km north of Bogra town. The spectacular site is an imposing landmark in the area having a fortified enclosure. Several isolated mounds Govinda Bhita Temple, Khodea Pathar Bhita, Mankalir Kunda Dhap, Parsuram's Palace and jiyat Kunda surround the fortified city. This 3rd century BC archaeological site is still held to be of great sanctity by Hindus.
